Over 30 years ago, Dr. James C. Dobson felt God’s call on his life: to nurture and defend the God-ordained institution of the family. He responded to that call and started Focus on the Family in 1977. Six years after Focus on the Family started in California, Focus opened its doors in Canada and we have since seen tremendous impact within Canadian families.

God has given us a renewed vision for serving families in Canada and reaching them with the hope that only He can provide. As we embark on the journey of expanding our ministry under God’s guidance, our vision is three-fold:
